This reminds me of the "free satellite tv for PC" scam which I occasionally see. Some site offers you hundreds of free satellite stations for $40. Your money just buys you a crappy (possibly spyware infected) app that links to a bunch of website media clips. Great huh?
First thing I would want to know about WhereverTV is who is hosting these media streams and if they're real TV channels or just urls anyone with a browser can find. Considering there are no sub for this box, my money would be on the latter.
I'm confused about some of the comments....What channels are available?

Free Satellite TV for PC Scam? All of the channels are available at the above link for free. So what scam is there? They aren't charging you for software that runs on a PC, they are selling a piece of hardware. If you don't see the value - then watch the channels for free on your PC.
The $199 device allows you to watch all of this stuff ON YOUR TV WITH A REMOTE CONTROL. Plus, I was told they have full YouTube! integration as well and are adding new content regularly.
I don't expect this to replace my cable subscription - or even be TV quality since its coming over the Internet - but allowing me to watch channels from around the world on my TV without a PC required for $199.... Well, that doesn't sound too bad to me.
