"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
Btw, I'm considering purchasing the Panasonic Viera TH-42PX80U 42-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV which is at $999 on Amazon.com (which has a 5 star rating) or 42" LCD TV similar to this AOC, but my price range is about $1000. Picture clarity and color are my highest priorities (as are probably most people). Would you all think I should get the Panasonic Plasma over this AOC LCD (The L42H861) with only spending $1k? I have read so much out there on both technologies (Plasma vs LCD), but would like some opinions.
