TWC bringing Biography HD, Starz Suite to Brooklyn / Queens, NY
It has been a few months since the Brooklyn / Queens areas of New York had any high-def news pointed at 'em, but Time Warner Cable has quietly announced a few newcomers in the midst of shuffling its lineup around. Beginning on July 23rd, HD Theater will be shifting from slot 718 to 767 (so don't freak out), while Biography HD will launch on 763. Furthermore, Starz HD, Starz Comedy HD, Starz Edge HD and Starz Kids & Family HD will get lit on slots 676, 681, 677 and 678, respectively. Another few more HD channels and those areas will have TRIPLE the number of HD channels that Manhattan has. AND those areas have the ability to get a 10% reduction in rates that Manhattanites can't get. AND Crime Warner is about to (possibly) drop Universal HD just as it's about to carry tons of Olympics programming.
Note to Crime Warner... you have totally ghettoized Manhattan residents, you WILL get your comeuppance as soon as FIOS comes to town.
WE WILL NOT FORGET YOU SCREWED US JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN.
Yeah I live in Manhattan too, but I no longer wait for Crime Warner to deliver new HD channels here In manhattan. I just got the latest sony Bluray player, and rent movies from netflix. When FIOS come to town goodbye Crime Warner
