I guess for now, more HD is always good HD until we get some real choice. Though NBC is had Nightly News with Brian Williams since March 2007. By default, I always go for an HD broadcast, regardless of what is on.
I'm still waiting for networks to go entirely HD. It's too obvious now which shots are having more money poured into them (namely, desk shots)

Too bad that this isnt the norm. As has been noted over and over, HD has not been shown to be a winner in news ratings anywhere - and CBS needs all the help it can get in that area.
NBC was the #1 Nightly News Program when it went to HD and quickly became #2 to ABC. Not that HD caused the decline, but again, as has been proven, there is no influx of ratings due to HD.
