SI Screens ships Black Diamond projector screen
Are you serious about your projector? No, we mean serious. If so, SI Screens is asking that you place your money where your mouth is with the shipping announcement of its Black Diamond products. Said screens promise the blackest blacks and the whitest whites, though there's no details on whether it does chores when not entertaining guests. Still, for $2,599 (100-inch), it better.

I've seen this thing in action. For $2.599, it's a bargain (considering the same size Firehawk or Greyhawk cost about the same if not more)
I agree. I've seen it in a number of settings, with a number of lighting conditions, and it ALWAYS looks incredible.
Lots of light? No problem: it's almost as though it was a giant, paper-thin flat panel - you can't believe it's not backlit.
Totally light controlled? Still looks WAY better than other screens.
Light-colored walls? This thing makes them disappear. So the WAF is high, since the walls can still be "stylish", but when the movie comes on, it's a total man-cave.
I've lately become a Black Diamond fanboy :-)
