Uh, forgive me for asking, but: why is it called the "Biography" channel?

Car chases, Cops, Punk'd... none of that has anything to do with biography, does it?

Is there any channel out there that is true to its mission statement and does not shamelessly whore around looking for ratings?

MTV, Court TV, TLC, Bravo.... all completely interchangable.
