I'm hoping they've fixed the HD freezing problem. It's happened to me a couple of times and restarting the unit is not the most pleasant thing to do in the middle of a favorite show.
@Joseph, thanks for your comment. I found a clip on YouTube showing how the unit would freeze when switching from hd to sd and then back to hd. I tried it and it did freeze. So I had to unplug the power cord for a few seconds because the gui would not respond. I'm hoping the new software will correct it.

My TiVo HD reboots randomly but thankfully not very often.
Rob, if your TiVo is freezing then it is probably full. However, a software update could keep it from overfilling itself.
