A lot of things have changed
since 2006. We're not as angry, Michael Robinson is now a fullback for the 49ers, and
Scrubs has gone from the only SD holdout on NBC's Thursday night lineup (with the exception of one
surprise HD test episode) to finally joining the high definition world in its 8th season, now on ABC. Of course this means we can finally start watching again -- even with the possibility that this is the last season with star Zach Braff planning to leave and take main character J.D. with him -- does anyone know what happened after that whole "I'm pregnant" announcement?
I love this show but it went downhill after the musical episode. They should have wrapped it up with season 6.
Did you really stop watching Scrubs because it was in SD? That's just stupid.
AFAIK, Zach Braff is not planning on leaving the series until it's over...
I adore this show, but season 7 was a mess. ZB explained this on his site. NBC purposely showed many episodes out of order this past season. Why was it not in presented in HD along with the rest of the successfull Thursday night lineup?
Because it cost NBC a little bit more money to produce it in HD,
and the Network just wasn't behind the show all that much. And that is why ABC now has the show.
Yea Michael Robinson! Go PSU!
Way to go Scrubs....HD by the last season....lame
Yeah, it does suck that they waited until the last season to broadcast in HD. But, I do remember reading somewhere that the entire series was filmed on 16mm, which means there is a possibility of a high-def (although probably 4:3) Blu-ray release.
Won't be the last season, they're going to continue producing them in a style similar to ER. Cycle in and slowly introduce new characters.
