The percentage of sales people that recommend Samsung HDTVs.
Salespeople are also becoming less likely to recommend LCD sets over plasma sets, which goes against the industry trend.

Sounds like Sony built a lot of them, they are being discontinued, and they want to get rid of them.
Honestly, to think of people paying $2500 for an 11" OLED TV will be looked at as some sort of joke in 5, 10 years (just like 42" plasmas being $20,000+).
I guess that is why there is an eye exam office in the background.
It's going to be hard to come up with the extra .51 cents.
I think that this is an amazing accomplishment, but Sony should have put it in a laptop because it is only 11". To be a T.V. that is extremely small. Sure this technology is alot more efficient, and alot more clear it should be a laptop screen not stand alone. Although it will be alot more successful when they make at least a 20" version.
yes, OLED is supposed to be much more efficient...
...but this 11" TV consumes 45 Watts. That is in the ball park of many 20" LCD monitors or TVs. I would imagine that 15-17" laptop monitors consume significantly less power than their larger, brighter, higher-res desktop counterparts too.
Put this thing in a laptop, and say goodbye to battery life...and you'll still only have an 11" screen.
I like how the tag says 1080p. If I remember right, thing doesn't even offer 720p resolution. It is the best non-hd picture I've ever seen though.
