Sony's stylish 46-inch BRAVIA KDL-46Z4100 LCD HDTV gets reviewed
Sony's BRAVIA KDL-46Z4100 was high on the list of LCD HDTV shoppers when announced earlier this year, and if you've been loosely pinching those pennies awaiting a review before pulling the trigger, here goes. CNET was able to grapple the 46-incher and spend a few days testing its performance, and overall, it seems like a solid buy. As expected in a set of this caliber, the color decoding and primary colors were deemed accurate enough, black levels were satisfactorily deep and dejudder processing was impressive as well. The occasional backlight fluctuation in dark areas and exclusion of video files in the network streaming function were the only real digs, netting the HDTV a respectable 7.6 out of 10 rating. So, is worth the $2,200+ price tag? Possibly, but it's probably worth seeing in person before buying on impulse alone.

I have a 32-inch Bravia, and I love the Xcross Media Bar interface, the logo-included channel listings, and other features. But I can't call the TV "stylish".
My old 30-inch Samsung 1080i picture tube was more stylish, and I like the Samsung LCDs' style better as well. The latter have a clean and elegant look, with a simple black foot.
Sony's complicated metal foot that is partially visible via a transparent panel is busy, confused, an less attractive.
You have to be on crack to say that a Samsung is more stylish than a Sony. Samsung is for the lower class that shop at crappy Best Buy. You think that cheap glossy plastic is an "elegant look?" This Sony looks better than any Samsung ever made. And no LCD can touch the Sony XBR4's in style.
Also, the Xcross Media Bar interface has gotten terrible reviews. LOL your terrible opinions make me laugh!
I am thinking of getting a Panasonic 42 or 46 inch plasma but have heard that Sonys Bravia comes close in black levels and image quality in general. But, I guess I should still go for the Panasonic.
Gotta love sony fanboy's... Ask anyone over @ avsforum which is better and everyone will tell you the ln46a750 is better than the cloudy bravia pos's.
east of west bravia is best
