Big Ten Network goes live on Comcast tomorrow
After what felt like an endless battle, Comcast and the Big Ten Network were finally able to hammer out broadcast details earlier this year. Right on schedule, the channel is expected to go live in the Big Ten region tomorrow, August 15th, on its expanded basic level of service. Of course, the HD feed will be included as well, and fanatics in the footprint can get set as the action begins with Indiana taking on Western Kentucky on August 30th. Are you ready for some football?

YES. as long as Appalachian State isn't on the schedule
HAHA! I can't wait for you guys to come to Beaver Stadium this year...
Yep I'm ready! No, No App St. but you do have Utah and Miami of Ohio, which with RichRod at the helm are both losable games!
It is about f-ing time!!!
does anyone know if the big ten network will be available outside of the big 10 footprint on comcast? i'm a comcast customer out west who grew up in michigan.

i believe the big ten network is available as part of your sports package outside of the big10 footprint. that is what is/will be available in the baltimore/washington area, and probably in new england, out west (where you are), etc.
No comcast in mid Michigan, only charter :(... Which hasn't got a deal yet
BTN is already on my Comcast system...stated up yestrday on channel 257 here on the Jersey Shore :)
We've had BTN HD since the beginning of August here.
