I don't understand the price discrepancy with BD at all. These are the MSRPs according to Amazon and not what Amazon sells them for. I want to compare what the publisher believes it's worth: $40 The Sarah Connor Chronicles $40 Pushing Daisies $70 Heroes season 2 $80 Smallville Season 7 $90 Firefly $97 Lost Season 3 $100 Band of Brothers $129 Sopranos Season 6 part 1
This reminds me of how the X-Files were the only TV show for $100 because they were among the first shows available on DVD so there were no price reference. They picked their price and ran with it.
I guess this is a long way of saying I won't be buying this for $90, or even $60, dollars. Someday it'll be $30 and then I'll bite. Until then, I'll live with my DVD copy that still works just fine.
“An engineer explained to us that hundreds of ear impressions were gathered in the name of research, and while each one obviously boasted its own unique shape and size, one single characteristic remained uniform across the board: the entrance into the ear canal is not a perfect circle, it's an oval.”
