The new version works great. I spent most of late last night scrolling through the hulu catalogue of shows. I hope they plan on adding Hulu's movie catalogue as well. Yes, you can do the same type of thing for cheaper than $30. Don't want to buy it, than don't. Simple as that. It does make your PS3 or 360 that much more user friendly though and it sure beats having to use a keyboard and mouse in the living room.
The X-Fi3 keeps with the company's commitment to audio fidelity, thanks to the apt-X codec, which supposedly offers audio quality similar to a wired connection when streaming. On that front, the device also handles FLAC files.
