I can't help but think this is just a backhanded way to lock dealers into using RTI's electronics when they finally roll out two-way for the XP-8 processor. Regardless, with their terrible track record for on time delivery of new products I would prefer that they focus on releasing all the the products they've promised and are not shipping.
Also, from many recent reports the reliability of RTI's products has been slipping, this is of much more concern to me than having another option for a matrix switcher or audio amp.
