What floors me is we're getting the Big Ten Network, with none of those schools being anywhere CLOSE to central Florida, and yet they are still twiddling their thumbs with Fox Sports Net FLORIDA to carry their signal. Almost 1 million people in Orlando can't get FSN

Thanks for your message. Please know that we have been actively pursuing carriage of FOX Sports Florida on Bright House in Central
Florida and continue to do so, but ultimately it is up to the cable companies which channels they offer their customers. And we know that
fans just want the games and this ongoing negotiation without resolution impacts our viewers and fans more than anyone else.

We want you to know that we remain available to sit down with Bright House, engage in active discussions to address and resolve the issues at
hand, and work toward an agreement to make the games and FOX Sports Florida available to the fans of Central Florida.

Compromise on a variety of issues is a part of any negotiation and we are ready to negotiate with Bright House at any time in an effort to
clear the way for FOX Sports Florida to be offered on their expanded basic level of service. That's the way local sports networks and local
sports teams are carried in every city in this state and all across the country (and where Bright House offers local sports channels in other
regions, including FOX Sports Florida in Tampa). Asking residents to pay more to see their hometown teams is not something they should be
required to do and that position is supported by the way all FOX Sports Net networks (including Sun Sports) are carried here in Florida and
across the country. Orlando residents deserve the same opportunity.

It's also important to note that cable and satellite companies representing 5.5 million homes across Florida have agreements to offer
both FOX Sports Florida and Sun Sports on expanded basic, which indicates our price and terms are fair and reasonable. And so we can
assure you the terms/price we are offering Bright House Networks are fair and reasonable as well. Contrary to what you many have heard or
read, cable companies do not have to pass along the asking price to the consumer. The decision whether to raise rates is made by your provider,
not by FOX Sports Florida.

Since we know cable companies gauge interest based on customer feedback, we suggest you contact them and let them know you believe FOX Sports Florida and all the Marlins. Magic, Rays, ACC, SEC and other games offered on FOX Sports Florida should be available to the local
community. In Central Florida, DIRECTV, DISH Network, Comcast Orlando and Cox in Ocala/Gainesville all carry FOX Sports Florida.

On the MLB Extra Innings package, MLB imposes the local blackouts for all their teams, and regardless of whether one particular cable company
in a team's local market (MLB designates the state of FL as both the Rays and the Marlins home market) is choosing to offer the channel the
games are airing on or not, as the league designed that package solely as an "out of market" package. For fans to see their local team's games throughout the season, their cable or satellite provider needs to choose
to offer the channel the games are airing on (i.e. FOX Sports Florida for Marlins and Rays), which many are doing, but Bright House in Central
Florida is not at present.

going to directv
