I'm reminded of the double-blind test involving speaker wire and coat hangers. and the audiophiles couldn't tell which was which. I doubt that the people who buy these cables will be able to tell the difference. Hell, not even the equipment they intend to power will be able to tell the difference.

Of course to get the full (if non-existent) benefit of this wonder cable, you need a $4000 power conditioner. Otherwise you have the entire electric company messing with your "pristine power."
The power would be even more clean if it came from a UPS instead. Wait, it's that the $10,000 add-on with the cables?

I love how all of you instantly scoff at the idea. If you have an expensive dedicated theater, that was constructed with highest quality as the goal, this makes sense. You'd already have a regulated, and cleaned power source coming in, and you definitely wouldn't be using the same power cord you can get from walmart to plug your compontents in. Personally, I don't think I'd ever even think about buying this, but it has it's place.
No sir, it hasn't. Any decent sized power cord from Home Depot will transport the pristine power from the most expensive power source. And then, this power will be cleaned again by the gigantic capacitors in the power input stage and adapter of the super expensive gear...
One of my friends bought a nice Monster Power clean power source. It definitely cleaned the image on his crappy Sony CRT, but did nothing at all for the sound of his super expensive power amplifier. The power input stage was so good, it already cleaned the crappy power that came out of the wall...
Just go to any high-end pro studio, and see if they use platinum power cables or diamond plated audio interconnects. They don't.
How does paying $1800 for a power cable make sense? The only place this cable has is in the home of the poor douchebag fool who fell for the snake oil salesman peddling these overpriced cables. I don't care how high end the system is, I can guarantee there will be no measurable difference between these cables and the ones that come with the devices. None.
Douchebags rejoice! Any fag thinking about buying one of these should instead buy a normal power cable and donating the other $1,790 to charity.

I can't believe nobody has pointed out the obvious reason someone would need to buy this. If you suddenly find yourself stuck in a real-life version of Brewster's Millions, you can buy a bunch of these and then sell them off at $10 a pop.
Beautiful cable, but GIGO. If there's no line conditioners to control spikes, brownouts, etc. then you're just moving along electricity that is only as good and variable as the wall socket.
