Tell's me BD is serious about growing their marketshare on standalones this holiday season. Nothing against the PS3 at all but I wasn't going to get it just to solve the Blu issue.  I looked at maybe getting a Dell Studio Hybrid but decided the purchase wouldn't have been smart since I am running four home computers(their not ALL mine) at the moment.  I really couldn't pull the trigger on a $299 standalone Blu player.  As soon as I read that the Sony was $199 on Amazon I ordered it with 2-day shipping.
