Unfortunately, our intellectually challenged brethren (former HDDVD fanboys) will still find reason to gripe. Even though these players are now starting out cheaper and will no doubt be on sale for the holidays, it will not be enough. So to preempt any tirades, I say to them, you're right blu-ray is still too expensive for YOU and YOU should just keep buying DVD's and downloads. untill a 2.0 Blu-ray player is significantly less than a PS3, (or can at least produce better picture/sound...etc) than why should a consumer get anything else?

DMP-BP10 1st gen
DMP-BD10A 1st gen (a half price version of DMP-BD10)

DMP-BD30 2ond gen (new chips, motherboard and Java)

DMP-BD50 3rd gen ( added network connectivity and BD-Live)

DMP-BD55/35 4th gen ( chip change, additional audio and added 7.1 analog)

Sorry for this being late for the correct Podcast, but I thought you might like to know the differences even if they are incremental
