BBC HD making Scandinavia debut on Canal Digital this December
BBC HD is taking one more step on its road to world domination by making its debut in continental Europe later this year. The channel is set to launch on Nordic pay-TV platform Canal Digital this December in Scandinavia, and it'll be landing alongside the SD stations BBC Knowledge, BBC Lifestyle and BBC Entertainment. There's no word yet on whether there will be an additional fee for access to the channel, but believe us when we say it'll be worth it even if so.[Thanks, Mats]

no it really wont be worth it.
the bbc is shite, and so are their part time broadcasting hours.
further more as a brit im sick of paying a tv license so other people around the world can watch shit that we pay for
die bbc, die tv license
What are you on about? BBC HD is the best HD channel in the UK. They haven't gone full time yet to get things right and because of that the quality is above all other HD channels.
Go troll somewhere else
Yet another ill-informed rant.
Go do some research about BBC Worldwide, and how any money they make goes back into the License Fee pot.
bbc worldwide accounts for about 9% of the funds the bbc recieves. the majority of it is from the tax payer in the uk paying the draconian tv tax.
as to the bbc having the best hd channel in the uk. well get real. that comment says to me you only have virgin media with their one hd channel or freesat, if you had experienced channels on sky hd you would realise you are talking garbage.
their bitrate has gone down and down and down to the point where it is lower than than of channels sharing a transponder.
so why dont you middle england tory supporters go somewhere else and troll.
its absolutely beggars belief that anyone thinks that the tv license is good value for money.
According to Canal Digital the new channels including the BBC HD channel will be included in their standard family package and there will be no increase in pricing. Good just got better.
