"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Do you also need a 2GB USB drive to enable BD-Live?
i had the same question....i contacted Samsung and they said all it needs is the firmware.
I'm going to update mine soon...but i dont think i have a bd live disc....so not in a big hurry..

Unless the player has 1Gb storage, the answer is yes you have to plug a USB device into the back since 2.0 needs space to download content to.
