So I was wondering how Comcast was going to beat Vudu, and DirecTV's 1080p offerings! Simple, make it tough for users to make use of the new high quality Vudu offerings (big files, shared via bit-torrent technology, pushing you to your limit even if you watch very few). And make it tough for DirecTV to download 1080p movies for "on demand" viewing from your DVR hard drive. All those "background downloads" are really going to hose you!
I guess it's not technically anti-competitive, but it really does undermine everyone else's business model for electronic distribution.
