- ABC (720p) has Pushing Daisies at 8 p.m.
- CBS (1080i) has The New Adventures of Old Christine at 8 p.m. and Gary Unmarried at 8:30 p.m.
- Discovery (1080i) has the series premiere of Time Warp at 8 & 8:30 p.m., followed by MythBusters and the series premiere of Prototype This
- ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN & PBS has the Third Presidential Debate at 9 p.m.
- Fox (720p) has the NLCS with Dodgers/Phillies at 8 p.m.
- DirecTV (1080i) has Friday Night Lights at 9 p.m.
- Showtime (1080i) presents Inside the NFL at 9 p.m.
- History (720p) has Jurassic Fight Club at 10 p.m.
- FX (720p) brings Sons of Anarchy at 10 p.m.
- A&E (720p) has the season premiere of Parking Wars at 10 & 10:30 p.m.
Where's the Pushing Daisies love? That's a good show. Better than a lot of the shows on this list too. (8PM on ABC)
