The new software could be out as soon as this week.<br><br>If it can find the DVRs, but when you double-click a movie it says it won't play it because it can't find a server it can't mean the license server it contacts when you start playing. It has info on how to do it, and it is your ONLY source of assistance if you run the CE software. Proud to say that the 290 software update works as promised with this service. I am not really interested in the pc streaming but it stated that 1080p will be one of the new features of the upgrade which is cool. Also more in depth title descriptions. Previously 1080i was the highest quality you could get, 1080p is Blu-Ray quality, p stands for progressive for people that are unaware. Just make sure broadcast traffic passes over your VPN and you're set.  The application won't be able to tell you're not on your home network.<br><br>I use OpenVPN for this purpose.  A Linux box at home with the server side and the OpenVPN-GUI package on Windows for the remote client side.  It is possible to run the server side on Windows as well. I am still waiting on an activation code.  Cyberlink is the only company to run their web and mail server on a 9600 baud dial up modem!!!!  ARG!!!!  Where is the dern email? I wonder what DRM content they are trying to protect, I can watch my Blu-ray content in a window on my dual monitors! Finds the dvr, lists the shows but when you try to play them, it sits for 5 seconds then always says can not find server, on either computer. <br><br>Its got tons of restrictions, might not work if you have 2 monitors, might have to disable your digital sound output,if thats your only method you will not have any sound, your system must pass hdcp tests or some videos wont work, some will. <br><br>Guess it still in beta, but it 0 for 2 on me.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[Bob]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Jan 10th 2009 3:04AM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
