AT&T sees 232,000 net U-verse additions in Q3
In Q2 of this year, AT&T finally surpassed the half million subscriber mark with its fiber-based U-verse TV service. Now that Q3 has come and gone, it's proudly announcing that it saw a net gain of 232,000 customers over the past three months. As it stands, the provider has 781,000 paying U-verse TV users, and AT&T has personally confirmed to us that it intends on meeting or exceeding the goal of one million by the year's end. In other words, expect some serious sales pitches if you're residing in a U-verse TV area (and aren't already a sub).

Yeah...I'd be one of them if they would extend their service 400 ft down the street!! Why provide service for only 3/4 of the neighborhood?
I think its determined by where the main hub is put in your neighborhood, if it isn't close to you then you should talk to your city or town to ask why they wouldn't sell ATT a better piece of land to plant their huge box.
I hear ya. I moved a mile away from my old apartment where I had Uverse to a new apartment (which just so happens to be not 200ft away from an AT&T service hub) and I cannot get any AT&T service because Verizon owns the phone lines. However, I could have paid a $365 fee to remove some limitation from the line and use their services.
Thats pretty cool, " Yeah, I own part of that line right there."
Yeah, our neighborhood north of Dallas, TX got blanketed by knowledgable salespeople this past week. It was a welcome switch, too, as we're currently DirecTV and are having our usual issues with their equipment.
