DirecTV picks up A&E's Crime & Investigation HD
DirecTV isn't the first programming provider to pick up A&E Television Networks' new Crime & Investigation HD, but it's still in an exclusive group at this point. Starting today, DirecTV subscribers can tune into the high-def channel on slot 275, although some users are reporting that you'll need to reauthorize your DVR before it becomes accessible. Not a bad add, DirecTV, not bad at all.

I really just want Comedy Central and G4 to be HD and then I will be satisfied. And it would be nice if the sound would quit dropping out on my HR23-600 Receiver.
I meant H23-600
Wow, more perfectly good bandwidth wasted on narrowcasted stuff.
Narrowcasting is huge in SD right now, but there are 400 channels of SD. We only have about 50 channels of HD and right now what we need is more popular networks, not more narrowcasted networks.
It's part of the "HD Extra" package.
Which makes a lot of sense. In the grid shown, you can see it has a lot in common with the other HD extra channels, given that it's showing the same program twice in a row. Wanna bet it shows a 3rd time in a row and then 3 more times within a week?
AMC HD. That's all I'm saying. AMC HD.
I would love AMC HD. DirecTV should pick up that up soon in my opinion.I did watch '24' reruns on A&E's CI HD. It's nice to see those reruns in HD.
pffffttt.... give me G4, BBC America, FLN, Comedy Central, E!, Spike, Travel.... but Crime and Investigation?? really? Waste of bandwidth..and a poor choice.
