Sorry NFL network, but call me when you get some real HD equipment, and not just some dress up so that you can delay the deployment of a real HD network. Is it me or does the NFL network do a piss poor job of even upscaling the "HD" version of it's network? I can't even look at it TBH it's as bad or worse than G4TV, and that's bad.
Read the article dude. Anything available in HD is handed to you in NATIVE HD. Anything in SD is not upscaled, it is "slid to the side" and the graphics package fills the HD screen.
The SD becomes the window on the left side of the screen... NOT upscaled.
@ Reality: I understand what you're saying, but my point is that we have had the NFLnetwork for some time now, and if you're going to run a channel and offer it in "HD", at least produce your content in HD. I understand that CNBC does this too, but at least they offered it that way from the beginning. If a local news network can produce HD content, surely the NFL network can too. I guess they will call me in 09' sometime?
“An engineer explained to us that hundreds of ear impressions were gathered in the name of research, and while each one obviously boasted its own unique shape and size, one single characteristic remained uniform across the board: the entrance into the ear canal is not a perfect circle, it's an oval.”
