I just chatted with a Samsung rep and they confirmed that the BDP-1500 **will** be getting this upgrade in a few months.

I just read about the Netflix update for some of the Blu Ray players and was wondering if there are plans for ofering those upgrades for the BDP-1500 in the future. Dylan D: Yes, we do have plans to offer this on BD-P1500. Scott: You guys effing rock. I have been suggesting the BDP-1500 to all my friends. I will start suggesting to strangers now :) Dylan D: Hopefully, it will be available in a could of months.
Bizket, you didn't ask about any other player than the P1500? Thanks for NOT saving me some time man. I would have enjoyed hearing a more generalized information affecting all of their Blu-ray players, not just the 2008 models. Somebody get some more info if you're going to contact Samsung.
