Last year I was interested in picking up a smaller set - 26" or 32" but didn't really see any good deals. Sharp models can't really compete with the big names.
I rather take a Sammy 6 series or Sony W by far. Even a Toshiba over a Sharp.

The best deal from that list is the Panasonic by far. Yet I could probably go to Brandsmart right now and get it for that price. It's not worth waiting in that line to pick it up at that price. If you told me $499 yeah I'd wait.

I was hoping this article would elaborate on that particular nugget, but it's not even mentioned. It also seems to me, too, that these predictions are a little too conservative (high, that is) for Black Friday, compared to what I've been seeing in weekly ads, already.
