Seriously. Are all the people who are so angry about this BD situation actually going to go out and buy this thing? I think not.
Without movie playback the burning function alone is NOT worth the price. I have toast 9 which will burn to BluRay, but that doesn't mean that function is worth spending the money on a second drive for my Mac Pro. Even if Apple offered it I wouldn't buy it. Blu-Ray is for my PS3 and TV. I don't need it on my computer.
