Burglars break into restaurant, steal HDTV, leave money / food behind
Not that we'd have any expert knowledge in the wide world of theft, but this just doesn't seem like the best way to go about snagging a new HDTV. At any rate, an undisclosed amount of thieves reportedly drove a truck (or large SUV... it was dark outside, okay?) into the front door of Los Tres Amigos restaurant in a small Pennsylvania town, broke the glass, ganked a 47-inch Insignia HDTV and "fled the scene." For starters, you'd risk prison for an Insignia? Really? Second, with LCD prices tanking like never before, don't you think you could've waited until Black Friday to get yourself a steal? Sigh.[Image courtesy of Hotel Interactive]

Damn typo.
This is NOW directly competing with Amazon, Apple, and others for your HD dollar.
whats sad is that tv is worth only around $800. Even less since used. The damage alone the must of done breaking the glass and driving in was probably over $3000. Even stealing cash from just 1 register would probably net you over $800.
dumb people crack me up
we have a los tres amigos in Iowa where I live, great mexican food
Or.....
You could try posting these comments in the post ABOUT Netflix/Xbox.
Sheesh, give the guy a break. This isn't his full time job.
Wow, Insignia makes 47"?
Who'd be dumb enough to buy that POS, much less steal it.
Anyone dumb enough to "case" a restaurant called Los Tres Amigos and maybe even eat there is most likely dumb enough to steal an Insignia.
It would have been even better getting killed for a 47" Insignia...
P
About a year ago someone broke into my house stole my 50" Samsung plasma TV and left the Wii that was connected to it, my wife's purse that was sitting in front of it, 2 Iphones, and they left the power cord.
