The best fall programming to dazzle onlookers
Now that that Fall 2008 HDTV schedule is well underway, Sound & Vision has had time to investigate which shows are best for showing off your new flat-panel / surround sound system. Sure, we know you're still interested in those far-fetched "plots" and "story lines," but what about tickling your retinas and eardrums with the best TV has to offer? We'd rather not give away any surprises, but after reading through their top seven, why not chime in below with how you agree / disagree?

1.Dexter
2.True Blood
3.Californication
4.How I Met Your Mother
5.Heroes
Chuck should definitely have a spot on this list... it saddens me that it doesn't
I actually like Chuck, but the quality is so bad it is painful to watch....just not enough bits.
That's not a problem with the show, its a problem with your HDTV provider's over-compression.
yeh... chuck in HD looks fantastic at my parent's house on FiOS, but at my place in the city with comcast, there is some obvious compression issues... for some reason the surround sound signal doesn't come in on NBC, either.
Visually, Pushing Daisies has some of the brightest, most vibrant colors I've ever seen.
Soundwise, Terminator: SCC is almost like an action movie every week.
Can't argue with the top 3
Wait, yes I can argue with that top 3. I thought Phil's was the top 3 S&V chose...I agree with Phil.
No Survivor?
Fringe
Dancing with the Stars... skimpy outfits in HD FTW!
Smallville, Sarah Connor Chronicles and The Big Bang Theory (I think it looks pretty good in HD for a sitcom).
