LG's Bluetooth-infused HDTV gets pictured
Remember when LG teased us with information about its Bluetooth-equipped 7000-series HDTVs back at IFA? Yeah, well one such set has been spotted over in South Korea, and we can't help but be fascinated by the possibilities. Apparently the TV was shown off beaming audio signals to BT headphones while three little bears slept quietly in the next room over, and it was also busy transferring images to a Bluetooth mobile. Sadly, all we're told is that the set is destined for a European release, but there are still no pricing details to speak of.

Someone commented on Engadget en Español that it would be cool if this allowed you to use your phone or some other gadget as a bluetooth remote control instead of using IR remotes. Anyone know of any projects like that?
If your Bluetooth device has A2DP the music can be transferred in stereo.
North America is behind (as per usual) on getting A2DP into their cell phones... but they are coming.
this brings up an important question. Does anyone know of a standalone adapter that will go from SPDIF to bluetooth? I'd like to listen to stereo and be able to crank it up louder than i can in my current environment.
Nice idea but BT doesn't have the bandwidth, which is one of the reasons BT headphones (not headsets, I mean the type you listen to music on) haven't proven particularly popular as yet - the music has to be sent compressed over the BT connection.
