I have the Regza Cinema series 52XV545. It has SRT (Super Resolution Technology). It was launched at CEDIA 2008. It handles my SD content VERY WELL. It is not with the "Spurs Engine", but it made a noticable difference. No regrets.
I've heard this is so Leon, I gather that SRT (which uses some of the processing algorithms as the Cell TVs) is being reviewed very well.
It's a little confusing but from what I've seen it's supposed to be the Toshiba ZF 40ZF575D & the 46ZF575D that have the 'Resolution+' & Cell processor for SD upscaling, but there is dispute about those model numbers and their spec regarding Cell (some forums say they are 'only' SRT sets).
I've read that the HD TVs with Cell aren't coming out until Jan 09 even in Japan.
I have a feeling there is some confusion between 'resolution +' & SRT going on atm.

I've seen a little confusion about which models are the genuine 'Spurs Engined' models (with the Cell derived upconversion).
The thing to look for is, apparantly, the ability to do multiple 'picture in picture', if it can do that it really is the 'Spurs Engine' Cell HD TV.
Really looking forward to seeing this reviewed a couple of times.
