Forget Comcast with their overcompressed HD content. Verizon is rolling out FIOS with real High Def channels. Everyone on my street but one person has changed over to FIOS.
The only reason Comcast is adding any content is because of new competition. They've even gone to town meetings to try to prevent Verizon and AT&T from bringing fiber into towns because they're afraid of competition that may actually offer some real value.
It's just a matter of time before everyone realizes they've were getting screwed by cable for the past 30 years.
