Comcast dishes a dozen HD channels in San Francisco, California

Comcast last added in a new swath of high-def channels in the San Francisco Bay area this past April, so it goes without saying that residents are eager for some fresh material. Beginning on November 25th, customers in SF, California will see a fresh dozen hit the EPG, and those are: Bravo HD, Cartoon Network HD, CNBC HD, E! HD, Encore HD, FOX Business Network HD, FOX News Channel HD, FX HD, Hallmark Movie Channel HD, QVC HD, Speed HD and Travel Channel HD. Oh, and TBS HD will be joining the crowd on December 8th in certain CA markets, including Chico, Calaveras, Corning, Davis, Grass Valley, Modesto, Oroville, Patterson, Placerville, Roseville and Tracy. Nice, right?

yes I think most of the Bay Area will get them including SJ.

One channel is going away though: MOJO HD

OK, I think now that QVC has come to HD, it just proves that there's nothing more worthwhile to convert to HD.

I'm sure the Fox News channel in HD will be real popular in San Francisco.

What about downstate Illinois ??? When do we get to be among the priviledged few Comcast systems; like Boston,Chicago,DetroitSan Francisco ??Our dollars for service should be justly rewarded as well !!!!!

I agree Bears Fan...I just saw my last bill here in NJ had gone up a bit but I have not received anything for it. How about showing jersey some love and give us all of the channels that everyone else has received. Last time I counted I had 25 hd channels. pathetic

Just attempted to look this up on the Comcast site (I'm in the Bay Area) - chose 'HD Options' and I see no mention of these channels....also , check this out - 'Palladia (MTV in HD)'

I have see the Speed hd, bravo hd, and fox hd in the epg on my comcast hd dvr.
This is for oakland,ca.
