I absolutely believe it. It seems like every time I go to someone's house that has an HDTV, they never have HD service, and typically are still being hooked up with composite cables. Hell, most installers don't know a damn thing about what they are doing either. I had to teach my DirecTV installer how to hook up HDMI.
