PS3 firmware v2.53 bringing full screen Flash support
It seems like just yesterday (or last month, to be more exact) that we were enjoying the spoils of firmware 2.50, and now, Sony's giving us a little pre-Thanksgiving treat with version 2.53. Slated to hit the wires sometime on November 26th, the latest PlayStation 3 update will bring along full-screen Flash support (huzzah!) among other minor tweaks. Check the full changelog in the read link, and get ready to get your download on tomorrow.

Hmmm... Hulu, anyone? A proper PS3/Hulu player would be nice, though (do not suggest PlayOn - it fills a niche, yes, but the XMB interface is just a bear for Hulu and other stuff). Having to go through the browser is a pain.
Yea, hopefully this will fix the problem when trying to view full screen videos on Hulu
can you expand on "do not suggest PlayOn - it fills a niche, yes, but the XMB interface is just a bear..."??
i just downloaded play on and had a good experience watching a miami vice epsiode over netflix (is there such a thing as a bad experience watching miami vice??)...so i was thinking about paying for the full version. i really REALLY want a netflix to PS3 solution NOW! (but, preferably free)
Is that going to mean good things for BBC iPlayer ?
