The EPA found that the percentage remained consistent from 1999-2005. Even as recycling rates went up, the amount of electronics reaching end of life outpaced the increase, leaving the figure static. (source: EPA, July 2008)

Huh? The Panasonic has the same MSRP as this Sherwood. Just because the street price of the panny is better than the MSRP of the Sherwood means.... nothing! Except that the Sherwood will probably street at first for $250, and drop to $200 by Xmas.
