Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
I need your help (or the help of any of the readers!):
I would love to be able to stream video files from my hard drive, such as my digital home videos (in an avi format) and various other movies and video podcasts I have, wirelessly to my TV. Up until now, I have been using a Sansa TakeTV which plugs directly into the TV's components, but this "sneakernet" solution has some serious shortcomings (including limited codec support). My computer is too far from my TV to make ethernet connections practical.
So, I have these videos and movies on a hard drive connected to my computer and I want to watch them on my television wirelessly: Make it so!
