"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
last time I checked out their beta, it had mostly hulu content. not sure if it's that much better if they are just restreaming someone else's content. If they decided to allow you to stream from your own slingbox to their portal then that would be worthwhile being able to stream to any browser.
The do allow you to stream your Slingbox to their portal, so basically you can view your Slingbox on any PC. I can vouch for it working with Firefox and IE the rest of the browsers I don't know...
To be honest I'm not impressed at all. Can we stop calling video on demand as Internet TV. Internet TV is live streaming television - take a look at http://www.freetube.us.tc or http://www.netants.cn - that's Internet TV.
Hulu and Sling and YouTube are VOD, video on demand. Internet tv streams live, vod is static unchanging video served to you pending your choice of program.
Don't get Internet TV Shows mixed with Internet TV, internet tv shows are shows created for hte internet webisodes like sanctuary and diggnation.
