This is nothing... A few years back I worked for a company called Vanstar, who was bought out by Inacom. Turns out Inacom only bought them to make their books look better, which didn't help and they closed one Friday afternoon. We all got emails (at whatever client site we were at) saying to call this 800 number for 'an important announcement'. It said that Inacom was closed and we (all 5,000 of us) were fired on the spot. Never got another dime out of them for the last two weeks salary, vacation etc.
