Popcorn Hour's WN-100 dongle brings WiFi to your A-100, A-110 or B-110
Generally speaking, it's tough to find someone who doesn't love their Popcorn Hour media streamer. Not to say everything's perfectly kosher, however, as the lack of internal WiFi is a niggle that many cord haters have found inexcusable. Curiously enough, we heard back in May that the outfit was preparing a new trio of streamers, and one of 'em was destined to have WiFi built-in; we're still waiting on that unit, but Popcorn Hour is more than happy to give the option of retrofitting. The WN-100 is a draft-N WiFi adapter that adopts MIMO technology, supports 64- / 128-bit WEP encryption (along with WPA / WPA2, etc.) and comes sporting with a $37 price tag. Or, you can snag the A-110 with WN-100 bundle and save a whopping two bucks from buying separately.

Not a bad price. But I had to run a line to my TV since I have 5 networked devices up there.
Am I the only one that thinks the use of both a blurred shadow AND a reflection on that adapter to be an ever so slight Photoshop disaster?
For sure, Syabas's advert materials and presentation of their products as a whole are terrible. I ordered one fully expecting it to be a con or simply never show up. You can't even track your order status online or anything like that. But after I got it, I knew it was something special. There simply isn't another similarly priced product out there that will do what it does. It's amazing.
Nah. It's not a disaster. Better than I could do, and still believable. The only law of physics it breaks is gravity.
PCH FTW!!! I've had mine for a while now and I LOVE it. It plays every single file I throw at it.
Loban,
I have been trying to set setup A-110 + WN-100 with no luck. wifi connected, but media servers show not myihome or HP EX470. With wn-100 on laptop get speed from 108-243 Mbps.
Whats the trick? Router see's it and assigns ip address. SSID and security code set. I
don't get it.....
