Phoenix Gold ships space-saving HDMI 1.3a wall plates
If you're looking to install some fairly permanent HDMI runs, you'll probably want to give these a look. Phoenix Gold has just started to ship its space-saving HDMI 1.3a wall plates, three of which provide 90-degree right angle outputs designed to "minimize the outward depth required by connected HDMI cable." A variety of models are available to suit your specific install needs, with the baseline edition going for $49.99 and the high-end version selling for $69.99.[Via CEPro]

Thank you Archimedes!!!
$70 for a wall plate? I'll make my own, thank you.
Or just hit monoprice.com
Yes, exactly. $15 for the same thing at monoprice. Another $4 gets you a right angle adapter.
Hey engadget, can we at least to get the same price sarcasm on this accessory extortion that we got on the Onkyo Pre/Pro announcement?

I was expecting a mention of Phoenix Gold trying to compete with Monster Cable in the over-priced market.
I have stopped buying keystone jacks for most of my AV set-up needs if I can avoid it. Yes, I still use them for my ethernet jacks, phone jacks, and some speaker jacks, and for long runs to another room. But for running cables to the back of the wall mount TV, there is nothing like a nice round whole to stick everything through, with a plastic grommet for a nice edge.
