Where's Miami in all of these role outs? A pal at ATT says there are rumors of it arriving soon but how soon if that? And really, with Vios and U-verse what are the great things about them besides crazy internet speed? Will my HD channels look better than ever without compression up the ass ala Comcast, Dish or DirecTV? Will my internet be held down by my block/neighbors?
Actually, according to their users Uverse has tons of compression on the HD channels due to the limited bandwidth to your house (admittedly, the SD channels are reported to look pretty good). I've heard nothing but good reports about FiOS, but it is not available in Atlanta, so I am sticking with DirecTV.
