"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
God, am I finicky or what?
At the exact time that BD hit my price point, I have decided that I will settle for no less than 2.0.
Go figure...
Trust me, BD-Live is not worth it. Find your best player and if BD-Live is supported, fine but don't base your choice on whether or not this turd of a feature is supported...
Dont wait for 2.0. Get a cheap 1.1 if you want one now, and then you can always get a 2.0 next fall when most movies will actually have those features implemented and players will be 99 or less.
i agree ive been in the bluray game for over a year and BD Live is worthless ... u download crappy games and tech that seems ripped from 1998
Sony has had the sony350 on sale for $149 before at sonystyle (and that was without signing up for a cc). It can be upgraded to 2.0
IMO profile 2.0 is extremely important, it's a way of future proofing your purchase for unknown changes that may happen in the future.
