AT&T strings U-verse TV to Columbia, South Carolina
Awake, Gamecock Nation! We know you're already packing up the tailgating gear to head for the Outback Bowl, but you've an important decision to make beforehand. Along with Birmingham and Nashville, the great city of Columbia, South Carolina will also get its first taste of U-verse TV this week. Starting today, select parts of the city will be able to order up the outfit's fiber-based programming service, though no details about which areas were given. You know what that means -- time to make a phone call whilst crossing your fingers.

I have to say, ATT is the best home service provider I have used. I have had Comcast, Cox, Pioneer and Time Warner in the past, but U-Verse spanks them and then sends them to their rooms to think about what bad providers they have been. The ability to record multiple (I think I can record 4) HD channels at the same time, set my recording schedule from the internet, and check my land line call log puts U-verse way ahead of the rest. The interface is far superior and more responsive than those crappy Scientific Atlantic boxes too.
I have not had Fios, nor do I know anyone who has the service, so I can't comment on that.
hello, I was wondering if anyone has any information on what areas of columbia have uverse. I sell uverse door to door in saint louis missouri right now, but I would love to move back to SC and sell. So please let me know if you or someone has U-verse, cause I wanna move back home.
