How about a for pay online streaming service for those that don't subscribe to HBOs pay TV service? Come on HBO, give me options that will make it easier for me to drop Pay TV.
I dropped HBO a year ago, trying to lower my cable bill. $17 a month was just way too much for the content that I was watching. I'd pay for an online subscription and live with lower quality if the price was more reasonable. Seriously, how much longer do you think it will be before the production studios just go straight to the web sites and cut the broadcast and cable TV stations out completely. That will really be the impetus for dropping cable service.
