It's not cost effective to build a bluetooth remote that only works with one box (PS3). No reason to limit the device to just IR. IR and bluetooth are COMPLETELY different things. Maybe in the consumer world.  But not in the custom install industry.  Universal Remote, RTI and Phillips are the major players here (besides Crestron and AMX).  Bluetooth is basically useless as a remote technology.  It's not growing in popularity as a remote technology, maybe with bluetooth headsets, keyboards and mice, but not remotes.  There's no way to remotely locate a Playstation 3 beyond the range of Bluetooth; which is what, 30 feet?
