That's right Sony, that a direct jab at you! You can't say a TV is 3mm thick when you can't remove that monstrosity of a base. I'm getting really tired of hearing about how "thin" these new TVs are. Who cares?? The difference between a 5cm thick TV and 5mm really doesn't matter. But the press, engadget included, just seems to want to jump on the bandwagon and reinforce all this talk about thinness.
