Although I like more resolution, I think it is way too early to be bringing them into the market since most broadcast HD is 1080 and that is not likely to change anytime soon. Unless Toshiba is readying HD-DVD's return that supports 2,160p....
2160p isn't going to be delivered on optical discs, plus 2160p doesn't really pay off until the screen size goes over 80" (for 16:9).
Just like XDE, this is something I'd have to see with my own eyes before I start getting excited, but at least it would make the walk over to the Toshiba booth worth the time.
